Amy Mallorie

Clinical Research Fellow

Amy joined the Clinical Trial Service Unit & Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU) as a clinical research fellow in 2022 working on the ASCEND-PLUS trial,  testing oral semaglutide in patients with diabetes. She is also working towards a higher degree during this time.

As part of her postgraduate medical training, she was an NIHR academic clinical fellow at the Institute for Cancer Research. Amy then moved to Oxford to pursue specialty training in chemical pathology (clinical biochemistry) at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. She has subspecialty interests in diabetes and lipids. 

Amy studied medicine at Imperial College London, and graduated with numerous academic prizes and awards.
